Day Nursery Wolkennest
Since the start of our childcare services in 2012, we have been present in the Trudering district of Munich as a private provider with 48 childcare places for children aged 3 months to 3 years.
We have deliberately chosen a family structure with only one house. The personal contact to all parents and children as well as an always open ear for our employees is the elementary basis of our work.
On 1. 600 sqm we offer our little guests spacious group rooms, our own fresh food kitchen with adjoining dining room as well as large free play areas adapted to the needs of very small children. Own parking spaces for our parents directly at the house complete our offer.
On this website we would like to give you a first impression of our facility, an overview of our educational concept, our flexible childcare offers as well as our prices.
We are at your disposal for a personal conversation at any time.
Our nursery is supported by the City of Munich and the Free State of Bavaria.

We offer your child space for security and well-being, a place to which he or she is always happy to return.
We encourage your child’s social and emotional skills, lay a foundation for their healthy development through play, and help them develop their ability to speak and express themselves in the German language.
Through our own fresh food kitchen, we want to instill in your child the joy of eating a variety of foods and also offer the taking of meals as a communal joyful experience.
Children should exercise outdoors in all weathers to strengthen their immune system. We make this possible by providing generous, but protected free-play areas with a design suitable for small children.

Who is behind the cloud nest?
Christine Gast
Christine is the educational director of our house and managing partner.
She has worked as a stately certified Educator and managed a municipal kindergarten with 125 children for more than 10 years and so has many years of experience working with children.
Her special focus is animal-assisted pedagogy, which she has anchored as a focal pedagogy in our house through continuous further training
Peter Kistner
Peter takes care of the company’s finances and runs Wolkennest together with Christine as managing partner.
As Dipl.Ing. (FH) with many years of experience in IT management and as a management consultant, he is also responsible for all carrier-relevant processes
